Delivery

What days do you deliver?

Tuesdays and Wednesdays are Chingford, Highams Park and Walthamstow (E4, E17, IG8)
Wednesday only - E18
Thursdays are Leyton, Leytonstone, Wansted, Aldersbrook and Manor Park (E10, E11, E12, E7, E15)
Friday Enfied and surroundings (EN1, En2, N13, N14, N21)

What times do you deliver?

We start our deliveries at around 7.00am and deliver until early afternoon. If you want any more information as to roughly what time I am in your area please contact me.

What happens if I am not home when you deliver?

No problem! Our drivers can leave your box in a safe place. You can specify your delivery instructions in your account settings. If these change, email us before your delivery day.

What do I do with my empty box/crate?

Please leave your empty box/crate in your safe place or give it back to me when I deliver your new one.

Boxes

Where is the produce from?

All of the produce is bought fresh from Spitalfields market. George arrives there just after midnight and uses his experience to select a range of fresh produce that he believe is the best on the day. We then pack and deliver the orders for you that same day.


Can I customise my box?

You can customise your order by adding in your dislikes in the account section. Please note only 3 swaps can be made per box.
This still allows George the ability to fill your box full of fresh seasonal items taking into considering what is in season and best in market on the morning before your delivery is made.

We also have lots of extras that you can add to your subscription or as a one off.


How do I exclude items I dislike from my box?

You can select up to 3 dislikes at one time. This is done on the preferences page, after you choose your box.
Your preferences can then be managed from the members area.


What is this strange fruit/vegetable in my box?

Occasionally you might be unsure of what something in your box is. Check your account for a list of the contents of your box when it is delivered.

Managing Subscriptions


How do I place an order?

Once your account is set up, visit theVeg Boxes page, select a veg box, and add it to your basket. Orders are automatically processed at 11pm on the day before your delivery.

How do I change my order?

On the shop page, your basket appears on the right-hand side. Click the pencil and paper icon next to an item to:

  1. Change the quantity
  2. Set it as a repeat order
  3. Defer it to a future delivery date
  4. Remove it from your order


I have booked a holiday can I pause my repeat order? 

Yes. If you head over to your account and select "Holidays" you can choose the weeks you are away and do not need a delivery.


How do I cancel an order?

You can cancel by Removing all items from your basket – Click the pencil and paper icon to remove items.

When will I be charged for my order?

Your payment will be taken when the order is process this is normally the night before your chosen delivery.

What is the cut off date for my order?

11pm the day before your delivery is due.
Please make any changes to your order, preferences or delivery instructions before your cut-off. This is when your order has been processed. Any changes made after your cut-off will not be taken into account until the following delivery.

What should I do if my payment fails?

If your payment fails, the website will automatically attempt to take payment again in three days.
If payment fails again, the process is repeated.
If on the third time your payment fails again your subscription is then paused automatically.

Account

Do I have to have a weekly subscription? 

We are not a subscription service. You can shop as much or as little as you like, although many of our customers find it helpful to have a weekly or fortnightly repeat order.

How do I create an account?

Click the Sign In tab in the top right-hand corner of the website. Enter your email address and postcode, then follow the steps to complete your account setup.


I forgot my password. How can I reset it?

To reset your password, go to the login page and click Forgotten Password. Enter your account email address, and we’ll send you a reset link. Check your junk or spam folder if you don’t receive the email within 10 minutes. If it’s still not there, double-check that you entered the correct email address and try again—this is the most common reason for reset issues.

How do I edit my subscription preferences?

You can edit your subscription preferences by going to the customer account section


I'm moving house, how do I update my address?

You can update your address by going to the customer account section while logged in.
You then press view addresses then edit.

How do I update my payment details?

In the customer account section you can click - Edit payment details.
